I am a professional software engineer working in the financial industry and am familiar with multiple programming languages as well as computer science fundamentals. During my studies, I had the opportunity to work as an undergraduate tutor. First lesson is Free. Having been working in software engineering for 20 years, I'm now a tutor in computer science, coding, and IoT. I returned from Ireland (15 years) to Hong Kong in 2019. After graduation from a Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne and Victoria University of Technology, I worked in various tech giants such as Compaq, HP, and Accenture. I started as a programmer and eventually became a project director in Hong Kong, Australia, and some European Union nations including Ireland, the UK, and Poland. My strengths in programming are C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Python (machine learning). After returning to Hong Kong, I started tutoring IGCSE Computer Science, IB Diploma, and DSE (Diocesan School of Education) as these were not very familiar to me. This is a new beginning for me, even though I scored A and B grades in HKCEE Computer Studies and HKALE Computer Studies as well. After checking their syllabus, I found that they are similar to AL (Advanced Level) Computer Studies that I had studied before. Nowadays, after teaching those subjects for 3 years, I mainly teach CIT (Computer and Information Technology) of DSE, Year 7 to Year 12 in Computer Science of GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education), and IB Diploma. During that time, I also teach programming courses, such as JavaScript and Python, in international schools. I am currently building a quadruped robot under the cooperation and sponsorship of a startup company. The current students come from both local and international schools, such as Pu Chiu Secondary School, Choi Ji Chung College, Diocesan College, Yew Chung College, Malvern Secondary School, Chung Tsin Primary School, St. Francis Xavier's English Primary School, etc.
