Fun, interactive mathematics lessons for students eager to progress!
Hi, I think I would be a great fit as a mathematics tutor. I was also in your child's position years ago but ended up sitting my GCSE maths exam a year early (y10) because I prepared myself from an early age. My role as a tutor would be to make questions less intimidating for the student. By getting past that initial intimidation the student will then be able to tackle the questions head-on. I like to make lessons fun and interactive whilst incorporating “pop quizzes” and homework to make sure the students are always ready and engaging. I am currently a student at Middlesex University, studying interior architecture and have a strong background in both 11+ sats and GCSEs. I charge £30 an hour and have a wide range of availability. Hope to hear from you soon, best wishes. Kezia

Making Maths Easy to Understand
I enjoy participating in extra-circular activities that involve mathematics or sports. In year 8 I entered the UK Maths challenge and achieved a silver certificate – a mere 5 points away from gold. I have participated in badminton tournaments against other schools and attended after school basketball and badminton clubs. I also take part in sports out of school; having attended boxing and badminton. Other sports I enjoy are basketball and cycling, which I try to do in my free time.

Experienced Math Tutor in London
I am a top secondary student currently studying medicine at Imperial College London. I have extensive online tutoring experience in GCSE, A level, and SQA English, Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as medical school entrance exams. Spreading my love for knowledge and learning has always been one of my greatest passions. To gain relevant tutoring experience, I have helped teach junior school maths classes and have taught students how to develop perseverance while learning how to play the violin, cello, and tackle difficult questions in various subjects. During the tutoring sessions, I would start by explaining any difficult concepts the students may not understand. I would then teach them useful active learning techniques, tips, and tricks to solidify their learning. The second half of the session would be dedicated to going through past papers or similar questions. Although I have only taken the Scottish SQA exams personally, I am confident in tutoring students preparing for English exams as well. I have studied in the UK for over 10 years and am highly familiar with medical school entrance exams and interviews such as BMAT, UKCAT, MMI, panel, etc. Furthermore, I am comfortable teaching exams such as the American SAT (university entrance exam), as well as other university entrance exams like BMAT, UKCAT, 11+, 13+ or 7+.
