Rémi has been my teacher for two years, and I've made tremendous progress with him, advancing from A1 to B1. He is incredibly patient, even when I ask numerous questions! (Could you please repeat "framboise" again?)

Questions for You

Q: What kind of materials and resources do you use in your classes?

I use different text books depending on the age and goal of the student: cosmopolite, texto, adomania etc... I also use books, articles, TV series, youtube videos in order to vary the content learned: casual French, formal French, business French...

Q: How do you incorporate speaking, listening, writing, and reading in your lessons?

During the lesson, we mainly focus on improving speaking. I also ask the student to read certain parts of the lesson to improve accent. I use audio files such as podcasts or conversations during the lesson to train listening. Writing will be practiced outside the lesson with homework.

Q: Do you offer homework assignments or practice exercises?

Yes, I ask students to write short conversations or stories to practice the vocabulary and expressions learnt during class.

Q: How do you help students with pronunciation and accent?

I also ask them to record some audio in order to correct their pronunciation to sound more French.

Q: How do you teach French grammar and vocabulary?

I have deep knowledge of grammar so I can easily know which grammar to teach depending on the level of my student. I generally follow the grammar shown in the books because it follows a logican natural progression.

Q: Can you adapt your teaching style for different learning styles?

Yes, I always ask my students during the course of our lessons to give me feedback so we can change the lessons. I am very adaptable and can use many resources. If my student prefers learning about food, I'll select the appropriate French cooking resources for example.

Q: Do you provide any additional resources or support outside of lessons such as language exchanges or cultural events?

Yes, students will have my Line contact so they can ask me any questions outside the class. I also organize French dinners and French cooking lessons ot help them use their knowledge in a real life setting.
