I am the Head of House and have 8 years of teaching experience within the Physics department of a top Independent Sixth Form College in Manchester. My experience includes teaching lower years, GCSE, A-level, and the Extended project qualification (EPQ) (key stage 3-5).

I have consistently delivered high-level teaching to a range of students. Some of these students have gone on to study at Russell Group universities including Oxbridge. My experience also includes supporting students with multiple special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Additionally, I am an examiner which has given me a profound insight into the pitfalls that students make when taking their examinations.

My approach combines real-world examples, videos, simulations, and exam-focused techniques to ensure students gain both knowledge and confidence in the subject.

What will a lesson look like?

- Assistance for students with the development of exam technique
- Provision of teaching resources tailored for the appropriate specification (AQA, Edexcel, OCR etc)
- Continuous and thorough progress checks & feedback
