I am a graduate of Imperial College London and Westminster School with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEng). I have also conducted research at Imperial College London in the fields of green hydrogen and thermofluids. Additionally, I provide proofreading services for scholarly articles and research journal papers for institutions such as ETH Zurich and Imperial College London.

I have over eight years of tutoring experience, totaling approximately 5500 hours. During this time, I have helped over fifty students gain entry to higher education, with many currently studying STEM subjects at top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial College. The majority of my students have achieved A*s and As at A-Level. I also tutor several degree-level students, five of whom have recently been awarded First Class and Upper Second Class honors in their respective subjects.

Through this experience, I have gained an understanding of the challenges that young learners face, the importance of kindness, understanding, and dedication in a good teacher, and the need to tailor communication and teaching styles to each student's needs. I find the process of improving a student's understanding very rewarding. I focus on providing a wholesome learning experience by always inviting my students to ask questions and attempt problems on their own before I explain a solution. I then work through similar problems step-by-step until the content is grasped. The main emphasis in my lessons is to develop a sound conceptual understanding, followed by fluency in answering practice questions, ultimately targeting excellent performance in exams. Read less
