Hi, my name is Matthew, a JLPT N1 certified Japanese teacher.

I had been working in a Japanese company for 2.5 years.
During these 2.5 years, I have been using written, spoken, and business Japanese frequently, and am familiar with using Japanese in real-life situations.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Translations and Language Studies and can explain the structures in Japanese more systematically, while comparing them with English to deepen your understanding of Japanese.

I currently have 1.5 years of teaching experience. I am mainly teaching beginners and learners with some knowledge of Japanese.

For those who have been learning Japanese on their own, lessons will be conversation-based to give you opportunities to improve your conversational and listening skills. Additionally, there will be more emphasis on grammar in the lessons. Read less
