Hello! I am an experienced Head of Department and Online Tutor based in the UK, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at GCSE, and Biology and Physics at A-level. I have a wealth of teaching and exam resources and a solid track record of improving student results. I also tutor General Science and Mathematics at KS3. After completing A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (all grade A), I began my B.Sc in Biology at the Queen’s University of Belfast, graduating with First Class Honours. Since graduating from university with a degree in Mathematics in 2018, I have been working as a math tutor and teaching bushcraft skills as an outdoor instructor. The students I work with typically range in age from 4 to 16. I have had the opportunity to tutor in various settings, including a Maths and English tuition center, private tutoring (both online and in-person), and as an after-school clubs teacher at primary schools. My main focus is on teaching mathematics because it is my strongest subject. I assist students with exam preparations for SATs, 11+, and GCSEs. Not everyone grasps these concepts immediately, so it's important to take the time to reinforce prior knowledge and develop new skills effectively. I don't overload students with questions, just a handful. I find it beneficial when parents or guardians send me photos of the completed work (including full working out) a day before the lesson, so I can identify and address any errors at the beginning of the next session.
