I hold a PhD in Mathematics and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Additionally, I currently work as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester. For the past 10 years, I have worked as a private tutor, helping over 100 students in their studies of mathematics and physics. I recently became a member of MyTutor. My English proficiency is at a fluent level, with a C2 certification. Mathematics is a field that consistently yields results when one puts in hard work, due to its intrinsic nature. It has always been my passion and will continue to be, primarily because its objective is to simplify and enhance understanding (I understand that it may not appear this way initially, but allow me to demonstrate!).

I am the Head of House and have 8 years of teaching experience within the Physics department of a top Independent Sixth Form College in Manchester. My experience includes teaching lower years, GCSE, A-level, and the Extended project qualification (EPQ) (key stage 3-5). I have consistently delivered high-level teaching to a range of students. Some of these students have gone on to study at Russell Group universities including Oxbridge. My experience also includes supporting students with multiple special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Additionally, I am an examiner which has given me a profound insight into the pitfalls that students make when taking their examinations. My approach combines real-world examples, videos, simulations, and exam-focused techniques to ensure students gain both knowledge and confidence in the subject. I am a graduate in Biomedical Sciences and currently pursuing a Masters degree in Oncology at the University of Manchester.
