I am a female teacher from London. I graduated from a London university in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. Currently I work as a substitute teacher across various primary schools in North West London. I've taught all age groups from year 1 to year 6. My passion for teaching began when I started working as a tutor back in 2017 where I was planning and delivering my own lessons tailoring them to my student's strengths and weaknesses. I have also completed a Level 3 diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools where I worked as a one to one teaching assistant with autistic pupils. I believe teaching should be fun and engaging which is why I play huge importance on visual resources in addition to written resources. In my experience the use of visual and auditory resources has effectively improved pupil concentration and understanding. I believe in regular recaps and assessment as a means of cementing pupil understanding of previously taught topics. Read less
